Home & Office Cleaning Checklist

Kitchen

• Countertops and backsplash cleaned
• Items on countertops cleaned
• Sink scrubbed, handles and parts polished
• Dishes cleaned / dishwasher loaded
• Microwave cleaned (inside and out)
• Appliance exteriors cleaned
• Cabinet exteriors cleaned as needed
• Kitchen table and chairs cleaned
• Trash emptied and bag replaced
• Carpet vacuumed
• Bare floors vacuumed, and mopped
• One Time Cleaning or Spring Cleaning: Extra attention to the exterior of all appliances and cabinets.
• Move-in or Move-out: Inside refrigerator and oven cleaned.

Bedroom & Living Areas

• Beds made (linens changed if left out)
• All surfaces (within reasonable reach) dusted/cleaned
• Windowsills dusted/wiped
• Light fixtures, fans, lampshades dusted
• Door handles and switches wiped
• Furniture dusted and wiped down
• Mirrors and glass tops cleaned (within the reasonable reach)
• Computer monitors and televisions carefully dusted
• General straightening
• Baseboards dusted/cleaned
• Trash emptied and bag replaced
• Carpets vacuumed
• Bare floors vacuumed and mopped

Bathrooms

• Shower and bath scrubbed, wiped, and sanitized
• Shower glass doors cleaned and squeegeed
• Handles and faucets polished
• Interior of toilet soaked and scrubbed
• Toilet completely wiped down and disinfected
• Countertop and countertop items cleaned
• Sink handles and parts wiped down and sanitized
• Mirrors cleaned (within the reach)
• Cabinets and furniture wiped down
• Paper holder/towel racks cleaned
• Door handles and switches wiped
• Trash emptied and bag replaced
• Carpet vacuumed
• Bare floors vacuumed and mopped
• One Time Cleaning or Spring Cleaning: Extra attention to shower and bathtub; interior cabinets cleaned.

Small Office or In Home Office

• Dust all surfaces
• Clean kitchen or food preparation area
• Clean & disinfect bathrooms
• Clean breakrooms
